Cinematique of Daytona, Inc Film Society, now in its 20th year, is proud to continue our legacy with the 10th Annual Daytona Beach Film Festival. 

As a lead-in to this very exciting season, early submissions will have the opportunity to be selected as "First Look" preview screenings for our film society members every Friday night during 2012 leading up to the November Festival.

The DBFF "First Look" preview screenings are designed with the filmmaker in mind.  This ongoing celebration of new voices in cinema will give each film selected the individual attention that is missing in the typical film festival experience. 

Films of all genres will be chosen for these individual screenings at our beautiful centrally located art film theater boasting a 16 ft screen and state-of-the-art high-definition projection system.  Promotional previews at our intimate 72-seat venue will not interfere with any film's 'World-Premire' status prior to the 10th Annual Daytona Beach Film Festival dates November 9th - 11th. 

We welcome and encourage filmmakers to attend in person or via Skype for an opportunity to discuss their film with the audience.

Due to programming limitations we cannot promise that every "First Look" film will be exhibited in the November Festival, however, audience favorites will be given special consideration for preferred screenings.

In addition to bonus screenings, quarterly recognition will be awarded to films meeting the highest standards of creative and technical excellence.

Sumbitting to the festival grants the right to the Daytona Bech Film Festival and the Cinematique Theater to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition and for promotional purposes associated with this program and festival from Jan 1 - Dec. 31, 2012. 

If you do not wish to be considered for the "First Look Program" (and only for the Festival) please inform us in writing with your submission.
